[origin: EP0573276A1] The invention relates to an insulating member 1 comprising a body 2 at least part 3 of the boundary surface of which comprises keying means 4 whereby a settable material 5 may be adhered thereto. The member 1 is a body of polystyrene foam which is preformed so that it is complementary to, and hence insertable in, an interior cavity 6 of a metal lintel, the cavity being formed between spaced apart plate members 7, 8 which are drawn together at the top 9, leaving the bottom 10 open. <IMAGE>
