The invention relates to an inspection covering with an inspection frame (1), for installation into walls and floors, and with an inspection cover (2) which can be introduced into the inspection frame (1), a peripheral sealing profile (5) being provided in order to seal the gap (S) between inspection profiles (4) of inspection frame (1) and inspection cover (2). The sealing profile (5) is arranged on the inner side of the frame profiles (4) of the inspection frame (1) and/or of the inspection cover (2). The frame legs which form the gap (S) between inspection frame (1) and inspection cover (2) and belong to the frame profiles (4) exhibit openings (7) for the through-passage of the sealing material which swells up under the action of heat. <IMAGE>

Es handelt sich um eine Revisionsabdeckung mit einem Revisionsrahmen (1) für Wand- und Deckeneinbau und mit einem in den Revisionsrahmen (1) einsetzbaren Revisionsdeckel (2), wobei zum Abdichten des Spaltes (S) zwischen Revisionsprofilen (4) von Revisionsrahmen (1) und Revisionsdeckel (2) ein umlaufendes Dichtungsprofil (5) vorhanden ist. Das Dichtungsprofil (5) ist auf der Innenseite der Rahmenprofile (4) des Revisionsrahmens (1) und/oder des Revisionsdeckels (2) angeordnet. Die den Spalt (S) zwischen Revisionsrahmen (1) und Revisionsdeckel (2) bildenden Rahmenschenkel der Rahmenprofile (4) weisen Durchbrechungen (7) zum Hindurchtreten des bei Hitzeeinwirkung aufquillenden Dichtungsmaterials auf. <IMAGE>
