Abstract (en)
[origin: DE4241212A1] The loudspeaker has a diaphragm (15) that supports the carrier (16) of a moving coil (17) used to excite the diaphragm. At the centre is a pole core (12) with a central rod (18). Discs (23) of electrically conducting material are located at either end and have coil springs (24) on either side of an intermediate element (21) that connects the end of the coil winding (25). Each of the discs has a connection to electrical lines (26) supplying the input signals. The arrangement allows operation with ambient temps. of 150 degree Celsius. ADVANTAGE - Long life at high temps.
