Apparatus for removing hair, of the type including, in a casing (1) which can be held in the hand, a depilatory head comprising a rotary roller (4) equipped with a shaft (6), several series of depilatory blades (5a, 5b) as well as means (14a, 14b, 15a, 15b, 23a, 23b) periodically pinching the hairs to be pulled out. The blades (5a, 5b) are mounted on the shaft (6) so that they are each able to pivot about a separate axis (X-X') perpendicular to that (Y-Y') of the said shaft. Moreover, at one of its ends, the casing (1) is closed by a cover (2) equipped with an opening (3) and constituting, for the depilatory head, a frame which is removable with respect to the said casing, the ends of the shaft being mounted in bearings provided in two end faces (flanges) (12) integral with the said removable frame. <IMAGE>

Appareil à épiler les poils du type comportant dans un boîtier (1) susceptible d'être tenu à la main, une tête d'épilation comprenant un rouleau rotatif (4) muni d'un arbre (6), plusieurs séries de lames d'épilation (5a, 5b) ainsi que des moyens (14a, 14b, 15a, 15b, 23a, 23b) assurant périodiquement le pincement des poils à arracher. Les lames (5a, 5b) sont montées sur l'arbre (6) de façon à pouvoir pivoter chacune autour d'un axe distinct (X-X') perpendiculaire à celui (Y-Y') dudit arbre. En outre, à une de ses extrémités, le boîtier (1) est fermé par un couvercle (2) muni d'une ouverture (3) et constituant pour la tête d'épilation un bâti amovible par rapport audit boîtier, les extrémités de l'arbre étant montées dans des paliers prévus dans deux flasques (12) solidaire dudit bâti amovible. <IMAGE>
