An improvement in the load limits of bottle cells is to be achieved. This is brought about in that at least the opening region (1) and that part (3) of the cell casing which is received by the cell holder are made of plastic and the further cell casing (5) which faces away from the cell holder is at least partly composed of a body which is made of or reinforced by sheet metal. <IMAGE>

Bei Flaschenzellen soll eine Verbesserung hinsichtlich der Belastungsgrenzen vorgenommen werden. Dieses wird dadurch gelöst, daß mindestens der Mündungsbereich (1) und der von dem Zellenträger aufgenommene Teil (3) des Zellenmantels aus Kunststoff gebildet ist und der von dem Zellenträger wegweisende weitere Zellenmantel (5) mindestens teilweise aus einem Blech- oder blechverstärkten Rumpf besteht. <IMAGE>
