[origin: EP0605833A1] In a device for adjusting a brush roll 1, particularly onto the work roll 2 of a rolling stand for the hot rolling of aluminium, the brush roll being rotatable counter to the rotation of the work roll and displaceable in translation parallel to the work roll 2 and being supported at both ends in pivotable mountings 10, the proposal is to arrange the rocker pivot 12 of each brush-roll mounting 10 on the chock 4 of the work roll, the mounting 10 having a pivoted lever 11 situated between a controllable actuating element 13 and a resetting support element 14. The actuating element 13 is arranged in the counterbalancing/bending block 9 and the support element 14 is arranged on the chock 4 of the work roll. In this way, a compact and easily assembled construction is achieved. <IMAGE>
