In a conveying device for propelling gases and liquids in a flow channel, the conveying characteristics are improved by the use, for the rotation of the impeller 3, of a driving device which consists of a stator 6 and an armature 1. The armature is designed as a ring which concentrically surrounds the impeller 3, which can be rotated about an axis 2, and, with the impeller 3, forms a unit. Alternatively, an outer and an inner impeller are provided, the outer impeller, which is driven by a motor, driving by its rotation the smaller, inner impeller, via a gear mechanism. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Fördereinrichtung zum Bewegen von Gasen und Flüssigkeiten in einem Strömungskanal wird zur Verbesserung der Fördereigenschaften für die Rotation des Laufrades 3 eine Antriebsvorrichtung bestehend aus einem Stator 6 und einem Anker 1 verwendet wird, der als Ring ausgeführt ist, der das um eine Achse 2 drehbare Laufrad 3 konzentrisch umschließt und der mit dem Laufrad 3 eine Einheit bildet oder es werden ein äußeres und ein inneres Laufrad vorgesehen, wobei das durch einen Motor angetriebene äußere Laufrad durch seine Drehung über ein Getriebe das kleinere, innere Laufrad antreibt. <IMAGE>
