Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0606192A1] A retaining means (26) with a continuous opening (27) is fastened on the valve body (25) of a discharge valve. A guide part (2) and a clamping part (3) are introduced into said opening (27), the clamping part (3), in engagement with the toothing arrangement (14), engaging with a mating toothing arrangement (26a) of the retaining means (26). In order to release the connection between the extension rod (1) and the retaining means (26), the guide part (2) is moved downwards in the direction of the arrow (7), the clamping part (3) being moved against the guide part (2) counter to the residual force of a compression spring (9). The positively locking connection between the toothing arrangements (14, 26a) is thus cancelled and the extension rod (1) can be displaced in the longitudinal direction in the retaining means (26). After releasing the guide part (2), the clamping part (3) is moved away from the guide part (2) again, by the compressive action of the spring (9), and the toothing arrangement (14) is brought into engagement with the mating toothing arrangement (26a) once again. The extension rod (1) permits a more simple assembly and is suitable, in particular, for concealed-installation flushing cisterns. <IMAGE>
