[origin: WO9307578A1] A menstrual meter includes a programmed microcomputer which predicts the fertile period of a female user. A display is provided for displaying as a percentage the degree of fertility or likelihood of successful conception. The accuracy of the prediction increases continuously as meter is supplied with triggering signals corresponding to the onset of each menstrual cycle over a period of time, i.e. several months.

Appareil comprenant un micro-ordinateur programmé servant à prédire la période de fécondité de l'utilisatrice. Un affichage est prévu pour afficher, sous forme de pourcentage, le degré de fécondité ou la probabilité qu'un rapport sera fécondant. La précision de la prédiction augmente en continu à mesure qu'on introduit dans l'appareil des signaux de déclenchement correspondant à l'apparition des règles pendant une période de plusieurs mois.
