[origin: EP0606503A1] 2.1 In these mirrors, it has previously not been possible to view the face well without adjustment aids. The novel design is intended to allow the viewer to see him/herself in a bright and excellent manner immediately after switching on in a simple manner. 2.2 A mirror (4) is placed in the circular hole of an annular illumination element (1). This takes place by means of a holder (2) which causes the mirror (4) to be surrounded evenly at the edge by the illumination element (1). The quantity of light required is not radiated greatly concentrated from individual points and therefore in a dazzling manner, but is radiated evenly distributed over the ring (1) of the illumination element apart from the electrical connection. 2.3 The shape of the holder (2) allows pivoting to the hollow mirror (4) and small articles, for example for the eye, to be used easily. With the aid of an adjustable lamp (not denoted) for the illumination element (1), the mirror (4) can be tilted. <IMAGE>
