In a gathering and stitching machine for printed products (17) which consist of folded printed sheets and are gathered on saddle-shaped rests (1), which extend parallel to one another and rotate transversely to their longitudinal extension, and are stitched by means of a rotary stitching apparatus (2), the radially arranged stitching peg guides (17) are mounted pivotably on their supports (9) so that they enter the stitching region in the advancing position (a), relative to the radius (R) of their pivoting axis (12), and leave said region in the returning position (c), the rests (1) and the stitching peg guides (17) being aligned in an ideal manner in this region. The stitching can take place in that the movement path of the stitching peg guides and the rotary path (26) of the rests (1) intersect, the stitching peg guides (17) being forced back inwards counter to a restoring force (32). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Bei einem Sammelhefter für aus gefalteten Druckbogen bestehende Druckprodukte (17), die auf zueinander parallel sich erstreckende und zu ihrer Längserstreckung quer umlaufende sattelförmige Auflagen (1) gesammelt und mittels eines Rotationsheftapparates (2) geheftet werden, sind die sternförmig angeordneten Heftklammerführungen (17) auf ihren Trägern (9) schwenkbar gehaltert, so dass sie in den Heftbereich, bezogen suf den Radius (R) ihrer Schwenkachse (12), in Vorlauflage (a) einlaufen und diesen Bereich in Rücklauflage (c) verlassen, wobei in diesem Bereich die Auflagen (1) und die Heftklammerführungen (17) ideal ausgerichtet sind. Das Heften erfolgt dadurch, dass die Flugbahn der Heftklammerführungen und die Umlaufbahn (26) der Auflagen (1) sich überschneiden, wobei die Heftklammerführungen (17) gegen eine Rückstellkraft (32) nach innen zurückgedrängt werden. <IMAGE>
