[origin: EP0606565A1] Straight connector having a flat, elongate body, of which one end can be plugged into one spacer profile and the other end can be plugged into the other spacer profile and the surface (5) is provided with at least one stop element (18) which, when the straight connector is pushed into the spacer profiles which are to be connected to one another, comes to bear against the mutually facing profile end sides, the body having a double-T cross-section, whose spaced-apart, parallel, horizontal transverse rods (9, 10) are connected to one another by a perpendicular web (8). For a better distribution of the drying agent, when the latter is introduced into the hollow closing-bar profiles, it is proposed to provide the perpendicular web (8) with at least one through-passage (4). <IMAGE>
