[origin: EP0606877A2] The invention relates to a fitting for a lock which exhibits a latch, a dead bolt, a latch socket (2) and a dead-bolt socket (4). The fitting contains a handle (10), which interacts with a latch-actuating member (8) projecting through the latch socket (2), and a dead-bolt-actuating member (9) projecting through the dead-bolt socket (4). The fitting further exhibits a transmission mechanism which connects the dead-bolt-actuating member (9) and the handle (10) and is designed such that the opening and closure movements, both for the latch and for the dead bolt, can be effected by one and the same handle (10). <IMAGE>
