The invention relates to an X-ray apparatus comprising an apparatus part (9, 2) pivoted around a horizontal swivelling axis (3) outside its gravity centre, and a spring arrangement (7) for compensating the torque executed by the apparatus part. The spring arrangement engages on a coupling member (8) which follows an orbit (100) about the swivelling axis on pivoting of the apparatus part. At the same time, good weight equilibration is achieved with little expenditure in that the centre (11) of the orbit lies in a perpendicular plane, which contains the swivelling axis, outside the swivelling axis and in that the coupling member is guided in a guide device (9,90) connected to the apparatus part and extending towards the swivelling axis. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Röntgengerät mit einem um eine horizontale Schwenkachse (3) außerhalb seines Schwerpunktes schwenkbaren Geräteteil (9,2) und mit einer Federanordnung (7) zur Kompensation des von dem Geräteteil ausgeübten Drehmoments, die an einem Koppelglied (8) angreift, das bei einer Schwenkung des Geräteteils eine Kreisbahn (100) um die Schwenkachse ausführt. Dabei wird mit geringem Aufwand ein guter Gewichtsausgleich dadurch erreicht, daß der Mittelpunkt (11) der Kreisbahn in einer die Schwenkachse enthaltenden senkrechten Ebene außerhalb der Schwenkachse liegt, und daß das Koppelglied in einer mit dem Geräteteil verbundenen und auf die Schwenkachse zu verlaufenden Führungseinrichtung (9,90) geführt ist. <IMAGE>
