Abstract (en)
[origin: DE4301192C1] The switch has fixed contacts (4..7) and at least one contact bridge (8, 9) operated by a spring-biased push-button rod (10), with a manually operated switch slider (22) cooperating with the latter via a spring mechanism. A pair of cooperating friction surfaces is provided between the rod and a part attached to the switch housing, providing an increased friction shortly before operation of the spring mechanism to provide a delayed operation. ADVANTAGE - Prevents faulty manual operation leading to increased wear and unreliable functioning.
