[origin: EP0607715A1] The present invention relates to locks including a body 8, a slide 11 mounted so that it can undergo a translational movement inside the body in a first direction 23 and a hook 14 mounted to be integral with the slide. The lock is characterised in that the slide 11 is made of two parts 12, 13 mounted so that they can slide with respect to each other in the first direction 23, the hook 14 being mounted on the part 12, and in that it further includes a finger 30 mounted so that it can slide in the slide part 12 in a second direction 27 different from the first direction 23, an orifice 34 produced in the wall 29 of the body 8 so that when the hook 14 is situated behind the projecting part 7 of the keeper 5, the finger 30 is capable of dropping down into the orifice 34, and means for converting the translational movement of the slide part 13 with respect to the slide part 12 into a translational movement of the finger 30 in the second direction 27 in order to bring it into interaction with the orifice 34. <IMAGE>
