[origin: EP0607877A1] A slide (2) for a wall bar (1) contains a preferably sleeve-like bar region (3) which encloses the wall bar. In order to guide the bar region, provision is made for at least one sliding element which is formed preferably by a sliding ring (9) which fully encloses the wall bar. On the abutment surface intended to butt against the surface of the wall bar, the sliding element exhibits a multiplicity of rib-like protrusions (14), the longitudinal direction of which runs in the axial direction of the wall bar, and thus in the displacement direction. <IMAGE>
