Ironing machine with a lower form (6), onto which ironing material is to be laid from a service side (4), and with an upper form (8) which can be lowered onto the lower form and can be lifted off from the lower form, characterised by a guide (10) for the upper form, by means of which the upper form, without an appreciable change in its spatial position, is to be moved, in a first stroke, out of an initial position obliquely downwards over the lower form towards the service side and is then to be lowered essentially at right angles onto the lower form and, in a second stroke, is to be lifted off from the lower form essentially at right angles and is then to be moved obliquely upwards into the initial position away from the service side. <IMAGE>

Bügelmaschine mit einer Unterform (6), auf die Bügelgut von einer Bedienungsseite (4) her aufzulegen ist und mit einer auf die Unterform absenkbaren und von der Unterform abhebbaren Oberform (8), gekennzeichnet durch eine Führung (10) für die Oberform, mittels der die Oberform ohne wesentliche Änderung ihrer räumlichen Lage in einem ersten Hub aus einer Anfangsstellung schräg nach unten zur Bedienungsseite hin über die Unterform zu bewegen und dann im wesentlichen rechtwinklig auf die Unterform abzusenken ist und in einem zweiten Hub von der Unterform im wesentlichen rechtwinklig abzuheben und dann schräg nach oben von der Bedienungsseite fort in die Anfangsstellung zu bewegen ist. <IMAGE>
