Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0608651A1] Device for avoiding fraud on a taxi or lorry equipped with an electronic sensor (3) of distance travelled and with a taxi-meter or tachograph (2). There is provided an impregnable box (8) which contains a circuit (9) affording a one-way link between the sensor (3) and the speedometer (1) of the vehicle. The links (10, 11) between this box (8) and the sensor (3) as well as the taxi-meter (2) are also constructed in an impregnable manner. The ordinary connector (6) of the speedometer (1) is plugged (12) into this box (8). It is thus impossible to apply external pulses to the taxi-meter or tachograph (2). <IMAGE>
