The invention relates to a sectional door leaf comprising a series of panels (4, 5) which, by means of their end broadsides (2, 3), are articulated on one another such that they follow one after the other, each panel (4, 5) exhibiting, on its end broadside (3) which is at the top, as seen in the closed state of the door leaf, and is directed towards a preceding panel (4, 5), a surface region which runs in the manner of a tongue in vertical section and is of approximately trapezoidal design, and further exhibiting, on its, in contrast, bottom end broadside (2) which is directed towards a following panel (4, 5), a surface region which runs in the manner of a groove in vertical section and likewise is of a correspondingly approximately trapezoidal design, which surface regions engage one into the other when the door leaf is in the closed state, and the panels (4, 5) being connected in an articulated manner via hinges (15) arranged on the other side (8) of the door leaf. In order to provide said sectional door leaf, in the case of which the risk of catching one's fingers is ruled out despite the panels following closely one after the other, on the inner side (8) of the door leaf, the ends (16) of the groove-like surface regions of the panels (4, 5) are formed, following the trapezoidal design, such that they jut into the interior of the door leaf in the form of an arc of a circle, which ends engage into surface regions (17) which are formed such that they jut back correspondingly and are located in the surface regions of the panels (4, 5) which run in the manner of a tongue and are directed towards the inner side (8) of the door leaf, the articulation axes (18) of the hinges (15) each running essentially through the central point of the end (16), designed in the form of a segment of an arc of a circle, of the groove-like surface regions of the panels (4, 5), and those regions of the tongue-like surface regions of the panels (4, 5) which are directed towards the outer side (6) of the door leaf being bent off inwards, following approximately trapezoidal design, from the progression of the trapezoid slope (19), and corresponding in each case with the inner side (22) of the end (23), arranged on the outer side (6) of the door leaf, of the groove-like surface region of the panels (4, 5). <IMAGE>

Um ein Sektionaltorblatt aus einer Reihe mit ihren Stirnbreitseiten (2, 3) aufeinanderfolgend aneinander angelenkter Paneele (4, 5), wobei jedes Paneel (4, 5) an seiner im Torblattschließzustand gesehen oberen, einem vorhergehenden Paneel (4, 5) zugewandten Stirnbreitseite (3) einen im Vertikalschnitt federartig verlaufenden Oberflächenbereich, der etwa trapezförmig ausgebildet ist, und an seiner demgegenüber unteren, einem nachfolgenden Paneel (4, 5) zugewandten Stirnbreitseite (2) einen im Vertikalschnitt nutartig verlaufenden und ebenfalls entsprechend etwa trapezförmig ausgebildeten Oberflächenbereich aufweist, die im Torblattschließzustand ineinandergreifen, wobei die Paneele (4, 5) über an der Torblattinnenseite (8) angeordnete Scharniere (15) gelenkig verbunden sind, zu schaffen, bei dem trotz dichter Aufeinanderfolge der Paneele eine Fingerquetschgefahr ausgeschlossen ist, sind an der Torblattinnenseite (8) die Enden (16) der nutartig verlaufenden Oberflächenbereiche der Paneele (4, 5) im Anschluß an die trapezförmige Ausbildung kreisbogensegmentförmig in das Torblatt hinein ausgebildet, die in entsprechend zurückspringend ausgebildete Oberflächenbereiche (17) in den federartig verlaufenden, zur Torblattinnenseite (8) weisenden Oberflächenbereichen der Paneele (4, 5) eingreifen, wobei die Gelenkachsen (18) der Scharniere (15) jeweils im wesentlichen durch den Mittelpunkt des kreisbogensegmentförmig ausgebildeten Endes (16) der nutartig ausgebildeten Oberflächenbereiche der Paneele (4, 5) verlaufen, und wobei die zur Torblattaußenseite (6) weisenden Bereiche der federartig verlaufenden Oberflächenbereiche der Paneele (4, 5) im Anschluß an die etwa trapezförmige Ausbildung aus dem Verlauf der Trapezschräge (19) nach innen abgebogen sind und jeweils mit der Innenseite (22) des an der Torblattaußenseite (6) angeordneten Endes (23) des nutartig verlaufenden Oberflächenbereiches der Paneele (4, 5) korrespondieren. <IMAGE>
