[origin: EP0608719A1] A slide (5) is longitudinally displaceably guided in an undercut longitudinal groove (4) of the cross-bar profile (1) such that it engages beneath the undercut (web 6). At its rear end, the slide (5) exhibits a clamping screw (9) which is provided with a head (8), projects out of the slide (5) in the inactive position, encloses an acute angle ( alpha ) with the longitudinal axis of the cross-bar profile (1), can be screwed into the slide (5) in order to produce profile-joint pressing and, in this arrangement, rests with the border (10) of the screw head (8), under the action of a force directed approximately in the plane of the frame and virtually transversely with respect to the cross-bar profile (1), on a web (6) which delimits the abovementioned, undercut longitudinal groove (4). In the coupling position, the slide (5) engages, by means of its stepped, front bend (5a), over a flat profile web (11) of the frame profile (2), behind which web the blocking element (7), pressed into its blocking position, engages in a locking manner. <IMAGE>
