[origin: EP0608805A1] Automatic coffee machine in which the ground coffee passes into a brewing chamber (5) and is pressed therein between a brewing plunger (7) and a filtering plunger (6). A seal (9) establishes the leaktightness between the brewing chamber (5) and the brewing plunger (7). The latter is divided into two parts (7', 7'') which are displaceable one inside the other against the action of a spring (8). <IMAGE>
