Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0430802A1] Electromagnetic shielding for switching power transformer (1), in particular for a television set or monitor. It consists of a cowl made in the form of a tray (7) with flat bottom (8) and with flared ( alpha ) edges (10) of relatively small width (L). It is placed automatically onto the upper face (9) of the ferrite core (2), whose shape it matches, with prior deposition of two drops of adhesive (11, 12). This adhesive is the same as that used for the junction (13) of the ferrite core (2). <IMAGE>
