[origin: EP0609161A1] The control comprises a "clockwork" part (15) having a first switch (9) and a "chopping" part having another switch (10), which has a contact (12) for supplying the magnetron of the oven with a manually selectable work rate. The switch (10) also has at least one contact (13,19) for supplying the heating element or elements (resistors) of the grill. Manual selection means, which act on mechanical members (20,24,26) and electrical members (11) of the "chopping" part (16), allow selective control of the element or elements of the grill by means of the switch (10). The "grill" function, which is timed or permanent, can also be controlled with practically no additional components. <IMAGE>
