[origin: EP0609476A1] A collapsible drying stand has a clothes carrier 1 which consists of a frame with transverse spars 2 and longitudinal spars 3 and of grid bars 4 arranged between the transverse spars. The transverse spars are each formed from a one-piece plastic injection moulding which has receptacles for attaching the grid bars and, at its ends, receptacles 5 for inserting the ends of the longitudinal spars 3 and receptacles 7 for the pivotable mounting of a standing leg 9. <IMAGE>
