The invention relates to a safety switch having a housing (1) which has at least one housing opening (21) for the insertion of an operating device (22) and in which a roller is arranged such that it can rotate in order to operate a contact support (9) which moves in the housing (1), the roller being locked against rotation and being capable of being unlocked and rotated by the insertion of the operating device (22). In order to obtain individual coding, it is provided that the roller comprises a plurality of discs (18) which are mounted independently of one another such that they can rotate about a shaft (17) and are all provided with a recess (19), like a control cam, by means of which a pin (15) is guided, which runs parallel to the shaft (17) and is connected to the contact support (9), the discs (18) having different radial recesses (20), facing at least one housing opening (21), for engagement with corresponding operating sections (23) of the operating device (22). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sicherheitsschalter mit einem Gehäuse (1), das mindestens eine Gehäuseöffnung (21) zum Einführen eines Betätigungsorgans (22) aufweist und in der eine Walze zur Betätigung eines im Gehäuse (1) beweglichen Kontaktträgers (9) drehbar angeordnet ist, wobei die Walze gegen Drehung gesperrt und durch das Einführen des Betätigungsorgans (22) entsperrbar und drehbar ist. Um eine indivuduelle Kodierung zu erhalten, ist vorgesehen, daß die Walze mehrere, unabhängig voneinander um eine Achse (17) drehbar gelagerte Scheiben (18) umfaßt, die alle mit einer steuerkurvenartigen Ausnehmung (19) versehen sind, durch die ein zur Achse (17) parallel verlaufender, mit dem Kontaktträger (9) verbundener Stift (15) geführt ist, wobei die Scheiben (18) unterschiedliche, der mindestens einen Gehäuseöffnung (21) zugewandte Radialausnehmungen (20) zum Eingriff mit entsprechenden Betätigungsabschnitten (23) des Betätigungsorgangs (22) aufweisen. <IMAGE>
