[origin: EP0609755A1] A bottom sealing device for a door has a rectangular sealing housing (20) which can be inserted into a downwardly open cavity of the door leaf (1). The housing receives an automatic lowering mechanism (23). The devices for fastening on the door leaf are composed of a moulding (22) which is integrally formed on the sealing housing (20), on the top side, and of a rail (10) which is screwed on the door. The housing can be fitted on the rail by pushing in or latching in. This results in a connection, which is simple in terms of mounting, between sealing device and door, over the entire sealing length. <IMAGE>
