Abstract (en)
The invention relates particularly to a mascara applicator. This applicator comprises a hollow application structure (4) having peripheral openings capable of being charged with mascara and developing transversely to the axis of the structure, providing communication between the inside and the outside of the latter. The applicator also includes a shuttle (52) which is movable in translation between a first position in which it is engaged tightly in the structure (4) in order to contribute to the charging with mascara and a second position in which it clears the said openings, for combing. The applicator combines the requirements, on the one hand, of charging and of application of the mascara and, on the other hand, of careful combing of the eyelashes. <IMAGE>

L'invention se rapporte en particulier à un applicateur de mascara. Cet applicateur comprend une structure (4) d'application creuse présentant des ouvertures périphériques propres à se charger en mascara et se développant transversalement à l'axe de la structure, en faisant communiquer l'intérieur et l'extérieur de celle-ci. L'applicateur comporte également une navette (52) mobile en translation entre une première position où elle est engagée étroitement dans la structure (4) pour participer au chargement en mascara et une seconde position où elle dégage lesdites ouvertures, pour le peignage. L'applicateur allie les exigences, d'une part, de chargement et d'application du mascara et, d'autre part, de peignage soigneux des cils. <IMAGE>
