The invention relates to a fuel injection device for pilot and main injection of different fuels. For this purpose a single-needle injection valve (9) of comparatively simple design, a specially functioning injection pump (1) and external means of control (19, 38, 40) are provided, by means of which, on completion of one injection, refilling of pilot injection fuel and main injection fuel can be performed with the aim of fuel stratification in the injection valve (9). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kraftstoffeinspritzvorrichtung für eine Vor- und Haupteinspritzung unterschiedlicher Kraftstoffe. Hierzu sind ein vergleichsweise einfach gestaltetes Einnadel-Einspritzventil (9), eine speziell wirkende Einspritzpumpe (1) sowie externe Steuermittel (19, 38, 40) vorgesehen, über die nach Beendigung einer Einspritzung eine Nachfüllung von Voreinspritzkraftstoff und Haupteinspritzkraftstoff im Sinne einer Kraftstoffschichtung im Einspritzventil (9) durchführbar ist. <IMAGE>
