[origin: EP0610846A2] The present invention relates to the use of copolymers containing 75 - 95% by weight of the total monomer quantity of at least one vinyl monomer which is free of carboxyl and amide groups, 5 - 20% by weight of at least one carboxyamide of the formula (I) <IMAGE> in which R is a hydrogen atom or a methylol radical, R<1> is a hydrogen atom or a C1-C3-alkyl radical and R<2> is a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical and, where appropriate, together with a maximum of 5% by weight of a copolymerisable unsaturated carboxylic acid as detergent additive to prevent reuptake of dyes which have been dissolved off and of dye breakdown products.
