Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0540827A1] The invention relates to a perforating device with a perforating device underpart (10), at least two punch units (20) arranged to be adjustable in respect of their mutual spacing and a pressure lever (18) pivotably mounted or displaceably guided on the underpart (10) for displacing the hole punches (56) arranged in the perforator units (20). In order to be able to set, with simple and unloseable means, a large number of hole spaces which are customary in practice, the underpart contains a recess (22) which extends over the insertion length of the perforating device and is open at its upper edge, in which is arranged a scale support (24) which can be rotated about its longitudinal axis and bears a plurality of scales (24') which point upwards in different directions of rotation and are visible through the edge opening. The scale support (24) expediently has the shape of a round bar which can be locked in various positions of rotation on the underpart (10). <IMAGE>
