Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Formmaschine mit einer Sandfüllstation (A) und einer Verdichtungsstation (B) sowie mit einem um eine Mittelsäule (2) drehbaren Drehtisch (3). Um in einer geradlinigen Durchlaufrichtung Formkästen (10) mittels eines außerhalb der Formmaschine angeordneten Antriebes durch diese transportieren zu können, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß im Bereich des Drehtisches (3) ein horizontal reversierend gelagertes Distanzelement (13) angeordnet ist, welches in einen Zwischenraum zwischen einem leeren Formkasten (10) und dem in der Verdhtungsstation (B) befindlichen Formkasten (10b) einbringbar und mit den Formkästen (10, 10b) bewegbar ist. <IMAGE>
