The present invention relates, among devices for closing windows of the "sliding pane" type with a jamb, those which include a safety system for guarding against incorrect operation. The device according to the invention is characterised essentially by the fact that it includes a lock 4 located on the sliding pane and a latch 5 located on the jamb and including an open housing 6 delimited by a projecting part 7, the lock including a body 8 in the form of a slideway 9 like a hollow 10, a slide 11 mounted so that it can move translationally inside the slideway, a hook 12 mounted integral with the slide and emerging from the body through a slot 13 made in this body, a rod 20 mounted in the body 8 and capable of assuming a position of rest 21 and a working position 22, elastic means for tensioning so as to hold and return the rod to its position of rest, and means 27 for causing the rod to pass from its position of rest into its working position when the lock 4 and the catch 5 come close to one another, the slide 11 including a limit stop 24 capable of coming into contact with a first end 25 of the rod when it is in its position of rest 21 and a notch 26 close to the limit stop capable of receiving the first end of the rod when it is in the working position 22. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne, parmi les dispositifs de fermeture de fenêtres de type "coulissants" avec un chambranle, ceux qui comportent un système de sécurité anti fausse manoeuvre. Le dispositif selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement par le fait qu'il comporte une serrure 4 disposée sur le coulissant et une gâche 5 disposée sur le chambranle et comportant un logement ouvert 6 délimité par une partie en saillie 7 la serrure comportant un corps 8 en forme de glissière 9 en creux 10, un coulisseau 11 monté en translation dans la glissière, un crochet 12 monté solidaire du coulisseau et émergeant du corps par une fente 13 réalisée dans ce corps, une tige 20 montée dans le corps 8 et apte à prendre une position de repos 21 et une position de travail 22, des moyens élastiques pour tendre à maintenir et à ramener la tige dans sa position de repos, et des moyens 27 pour commander le passage de la tige de sa position de repos à sa position de travail quand la serrure 4 et la gâche 5 arrivent au voisinage l'une de l'autre, le coulisseau 11 comportant une butée 24 apte à venir au contact d'une première extrémité 25 de la tige quand elle est dans sa position de repos 21 et une encoche 26 proche de la butée apte à recevoir la première extrémité de la tige quand elle est en position de travail 22. <IMAGE>
