[origin: WO9309750A1] A parturition bed having a lying surface (1) transversely divided into two mutually adjustable parts has a main supporting part (2) and a leg supporting part (3) that may be adjusted from a common lying plane into planes approximately parallel to the lying plane located at different heights with respect to each other.
