[origin: DE4137978C1] A disassemblable camshaft for internal combustion engines comprises: a cylindrical shaft (1) which can be pushed into the bearing bores and into the cams (3) located therebetween in a single operation thus allowing small diameter one-piece bearings to be used. The cams (3) are then clamped onto the shaft to rotate therewith. The aim is to improve on conventional solutions, which use press fits between a conical sleeve on the one hand and the shaft and cam on the other to create a rotationally rigid joint, by reducing the space required for the structure and improving the ease of assembly. This is achieved by using transverse screw couplings effected by means of clamping screws under tension. The screw couplings (9) are formed in such a way that no more space is required than with conventional camshafts, assembly is simple, and can be done using standard tools.

Un arbre à cames démontable pour moteurs à combustion interne comprend un arbre cylindrique (1) pouvant être glissé, dans une seule opération, dans les alésages des paliers et dans les cames (3) disposées entre ceux-ci, permettant l'utilisation de paliers en une pièce de diamètre réduit. Les cames (3) sont ensuite fixées sur l'arbre (1) par serrage de manière à être solidaires en rotation par rapport à celui-ci. Les solutions existantes, qui permettent un montage solidaire en rotation par des joints à adjustement serré entre un manchon conique et l'arbre d'un côté, et la came de l'autre côté, doivent être améliorées eu égard à l'espace requis pour l'assemblage et à la facilité de montage. A cet effet, on utilise des fixations par vis transversales comportant des vis de serrage sous tension. Les assemblages par vis sont conçus de sorte que, par rapport aux arbres à cames conventionnels, aucun espace d'assemblage supplémentaire n'est nécessaire et le montage peut être réalisé de manière simple à l'aide d'un outil standard.
