The invention relates to a luff rope (7) guiding device in particular for a sail (3) which can be furled on a boom (6) of a sailing boat, characterised in that it consists of a continuous groove (8), in which the luff rope (7) is engaged and moves freely, said groove (8) being arranged at the rear of the mast (2) and mounted freely pivotably about its axis by a given amplitude on either side of the plane of symmetry of the sailing boat. L'objet de l'invention est un dispositif de guidage de ralingue de guindant (7) notamment d'une voile (3) enroulable sur bôme (6) d'un voilier, caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué d'une gorge continue (8) dans laquelle est engagée et circule librement la ralingue de guindant (7) , ladite gorge (8) étant disposée à l'arrière du mât (2) et montée pivotante librement autour de son axe, d'une amplitude déterminée de part et d'autre du plan de symétrie du voilier.
