The present invention relates to an electric household cooking appliance comprising a cooking enclosure for receiving the dishes to be cooked. It also comprises a device for lowering the pressure and means which make possible a circulation of air inside the enclosure, this assembly consisting of a centrifugal group 5 associated with an air inlet duct 13 opening at 16 into the enclosure 4 and with an air extraction duct 19 connected at 18 to the enclosure, the air inlet duct and the air extraction duct being separated from one another at least in the region of the centrifugal group. La présente invention concerne un appareil de cuisson électroménager comportant une enceinte de cuisson pour recevoir les mets à cuire. Il comporte de plus un dispositif de mise en dépression et des moyens permettant une circulation d'air à l'intérieur de l'enceinte, cet ensemble étant constitué par un groupe centrifuge 5 associé à un canal 13 d'entrée d'air débouchant en 16 dans l'enceinte 4 et à un canal 19 d'extraction d'air connecté en 18 à l'enceinte, le canal d'entrée d'air et le canal d'extraction d'air étant séparés l'un de l'autre au moins au niveau du groupe centrifuge. Application notamment aux fours de cuisson et aux cuisinières. <IMAGE>
