The invention describes a diagnosis device and an operation process therefor, as well as a display for a vacuum cleaner. Particularly advantageous and novel is the combination of three pressure sensors, by means of which accurate localisation of an operating fault of the vacuum cleaner is possible. By evaluation of a connection between set fan power and pressure in the suction pipe, it is possible accurately to distinguish a suction-pipe blockage from a filled dustbag or blocked microfilters. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung beschreibt eine Diagnoseanordnung und ein Verfahren zum Betrieb der Diagnoseanorndung, sowie ein Display für einen Staubsauger. Besonders vorteilhaft und neu ist die Kombination von drei Drucksensoren mit der eine genaue Lokalisation einer Betriebsstörung des Staubsaugers möglich wird. Über die Auswertung eines Zusammenhangs zwischen eingestellter Gebläseleistung und Druck im Saugrohr kann eine Saugrohrverstopfung genau von einem gefüllten Staubbeutel oder verstopften Mikrofilter unterschieden werden. <IMAGE>
