[origin: EP0392314A2] A turnable closure to close the axial opening of a hollow cylindrical body (2), wherein a turnable lid (1) and the body have mutually corresponding cam threads (3) which cause an axial displacement of the turnable lid in relation to the body when the turnable lid is turned. Mutually facing axial sides of the turnable lid and of the body extend in a plane which is inclined at a certain angle alpha to the axis of the body. These axial sides of the turnable lid and of the body are in alignment with one another in the closed position of the turnable closure. <IMAGE>
