[origin: DE4308024C1] A two-for-one twisting spindle has an arrangement for treating the yarn balloon with a fluid medium (M1) supplied through a connection (3) which has an exit (3.3) coaxial or parallel to the spindle axis (A). At least the final section (3.2) can rotate about the spindle axis and contains a yarn guide tube (4), one end (4.1) of which exits coaxially and the other (4.2) essentially radially. USE/ADVANTAGE - For treating yarn on two-for-one twisters with conditioned air or with air carrying suspended drops or particles. Method of guiding fluid stream does not increase spindle height and gives clear fluid passages less prone to formation of solid deposits.
