A circuit breaker, in particular a line circuit breaker, whose latching mechanism (1) which operates at least one switching contact (7) can be unlatched by means of a thermal release (2) and possibly by means of a magnetic release (5), for which purpose the release acts on an unlatching device (3) by means of a tripping lever (4). It is provided - that the thermal release (3) is arranged in a hold (8) which has a freely rotatable mounting with respect to the tripping lever (4) of the unlatching device (3), - the holder (8) being located with its rotation point (9) on an imaginary straight line (10) which passes through the contact point (11) of the thermal release (2) on the tripping lever (4) and the centre of the radius of the contour on the contact point (11), called the contour centre point (12). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Schutzschalter, insbesondere Leitungsschutzschalter, dessen auf zumindest einen Schaltkontakt (7) arbeitendes Schaltschloß (1) durch einen thermischen und gegebenenfalls einen magnetischen Auslöser (2;5) entklinkbar ist, wozu der Auslöser auf eine Entklinkungsvorrichtung (3) mittels eines Auslösehebels (4) arbeitet. Es ist vorgesehen, daß der thermische Auslöser (3) in einer Halterung (8) angeordnet ist, die eine freidrehbare Lagerung bezüglich des Auslösehebels (4) der Entklinkungsvorrichtung (3) aufweist, wobei die Halterung (8) mit ihrem Drehpunkt (9) auf einer gedachten Geraden (10) liegt, die durch den Anlagepunkt (11) des thermischen Auslösers (2) am Auslösehebel (4) und den Radiusmittelpunkt der Kontur am Anlagepunkt (11), Konturmittelpunkt (12) genannt, verläuft. <IMAGE>
