[origin: WO9311109A1] The invention concerns N-($g(b)-carbonyl- and $g(b)-cyanovinyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine derivatives of general formula (I), in which R?1 is COOR?3, COR?4, CONR?4R?5 or CN; R?2 is the same as R?1 or a C1?-C12? alkyl group or hydrogen; X is oxygen, sulphur or a grouping of the formula -NR?6-, -NR?6-CO-, (a), -O-CO-, -O-CO-O-, -O-CO-NR?6 or -NR?6-CO-NR?6-, the bond to the carbon atom at the 4-position in the piperidine ring being through an N-atom or O-atom; and the other substituents are as defined in the description. The invention also concerns the use of such compounds as stabilizers for the protection of plastics and varnishes against the action of light, oxygen and heat.

Dérivés de N-(beta-carbonyl- et beta-cyanovinyl)-2,2,6,6-tétraméthylpipéridine, de formule générale (I), dans laquelle R1 désigne COOR3, COR4, CONR4R5 ou CN, R2 a les significations de R1 ou désigne un alkyle en C1 à C12 ou un hydrogène, X désigne un oxygène, un soufre, ou un groupement présentant l'une des formules ci-après: -NR6, -NR6-CO-, (a), -O-CO-, -O-CO-O-, -O-CO-NR6- ou -NR6-CO-NR6-, la liaison avec l'atome de C en 4 du noyau pipéridine s'effectuant par l'intermédiaire d'un atome de N ou de O du groupement précité, et les autres substituants étant définis comme spécifié dans la description. La présente invention concerne également l'utilisation de ces produits comme stabilisants de matières plastiques et de vernis pour lutter contre l'action de la lumière, de l'oxygène et de la chaleur.
