An innovative feature is that in the operating region of the press ram (3), the speed of the driving piston rod (2) is increased at least once. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur hydraulischen Ansteuerung einer Gelenk- oder Kniehebelpresse und Gelenk- oder Kniehebelpresse mit einer Steuerung adaptiert für das Ausführen des Verfahrens. Neu wird im Arbeitsbereich des Pressenstössels (3) die Geschwindigkeit der antreibenden Kolbenstange (2) wenigstens einmal erhöht. Die Geschwindigkeit des Stössels (3) wird derart bis zum UT relativ konstant gehalten. <IMAGE>
