[origin: EP0617179A1] A wall element according to the invention is characterised by a system of posts (14) which are arranged symmetrically with respect to a longitudinal centre plane (7), widened cross-sectionally in the direction of the outer sides (5, 5') and between which there extend panels (8) - which are retained in a positively locking manner by the arrangement of the posts. The posts, which are made from concrete, are connected to one another via screw-connections and a gap (9) located between the panels (8), which are made from a foamed geopolymer material, is filled with an expanding polyurethane material. For the architectural design of the outer side of the wall element, but also for the further improvement of the heat insulation, the sides (12), of the posts (14), which are laid in the outer sides of the wall element may be covered by panels (18) which are arched or profiled in some other manner and, in turn, consist of a foamed geopolymer material.
