[origin: DE4142856C1] The coupling device has a transmitting or receiving device (1) to which one end of an optical waveguide (16) can be optically coupled via a lens (12) in a holder (4). The holder (4) is made of strip material and comprises a through hole (6) in which the lens is force fitted. The fit of the lens (12) and the thickness (19) of the holder (4) are selected to give the optimum focussing distances (20, 21) between the lens (12) and the end (15) of the waveguide (16) and the transmitting or receiving device (1). The transmitting or receiving device (1) is secured to the holder (4) via the through-hole (6) aperture away from the waveguide.

Le dispositif d'accouplement comporte un dispositif d'émission ou de réception (1) auquel l'extrémité (15) d'un guide d'ondes (16) optique peut être couplée de manière optique, par le biais d'une lentille (12) maintenue par un support (4). Ce support (4) est réalisé dans un matériau se présentant sous la forme d'un ruban et est pourvu d'un trou traversant (6) dans lequel la lentille (12) est maintenue avec un ajustement serré. L'ajustement de la lentille (12) et l'épaisseur de support (4) sont choisis de façon à avoir des espaces optimaux (20, 21), en ce qui concerne la focalisation, de la lentille (12) par rapport à l'extrémité (15) du guide d'ondes (16) et au dispositif d'émission ou de réception (1). Le dispositif d'émission ou de réception (1) est fixé sur le support (4) par l'intermédiaire de l'ouverture du trou traversant (6) éloignée du guide d'ondes.
