[origin: EP0618122A1] A boarding device for a chair lift comprises a rolling belt (walkway) which brings the skiers to the boarding location where they are collected in movement by the seat. The rolling belt has two end drums 17 whose external perimeter bulges in the form of a barrel in order to centre the rolling belt and is provided with cavities 28 preventing the build-up of snow or ice. <IMAGE>
