[origin: DE4311300C1] The straightening appts. has several straightening rolls (1) located in two parallel planes. The roll axles (2) are provided with bearings in cassettes (3) which are installed in a housing holder structure. The appts. is characterised by the fact that the roll bearing cassettes (3) have a housing in the form of a hollow cylinder (3') and are replaceably fitted into toleranced bores (10) with definite position and orientation. USE/ADVANTAGE - For straightening wire and tube products. The cost of roll cassette replacement is reduced, with improved straightening precision and lengthened operating life of the appts.
