The invention is to provide an adjustable blowing turning bar for a material web, in which it is possible to close the blowing orifices which are temporarily not required, round which a paper web is not looped and which are arranged in the outer surface of the turning bar. This is carried out, according to the invention, in that the turning bar consists of a tube which has air orifices and on the inner surface of which a slide provided with air orifices bears and can be axially displaced in a specific manner by adjusting means at least by the amount of a distance corresponding to the diameter of an air orifice. The air orifices of the slide can thereby either be brought to overlap with the air orifices of the tube or be closed relative to these.

Verstellbare, blasende Wendestange (1,58) für eine Materialbahn (118,119), bei welcher die zeitweise nicht benötigten, von einer Papierbahn nicht umschlungenen, in der Mantelfläche der Wendestange (1,58) angeordneten Blasöffnungen (11-14,16-19) verschließbar sind. Die Wendestange (1,58) besteht aus einem Rohr (2) mit Luftöffnungen (11-14,16-19), an dessen Innenmantel (25) ein mit Luftöffnungen (48-51,54-57) versehener Schieber (22) anliegt und durch Stellmittel (46) zumindest um eine Wegstrecke des Durchmessers einer Luftöffnung definiert axial verschiebbar ist. Dabei können die Luftöffnungen (48-51,54-57) des Schiebers (22) mit den Luftöffnungen (11-14,16-19) des Rohres (2) wahlweise in Überdeckung gebracht oder gegenseitig verschlossen werden. <IMAGE>
