[origin: WO9313500A1] To record times and intermediate times at sporting events, especially major and multi-competition events. a process for the immediate recording of the results is proposed in which a large number of recording posts is arranged alongside the track which are connected wirelessly or by wires to a central station which evaluates the incoming information, each recording post has a frame aerial for emitting energy in the high-frequency range and high-frequency signals and each sporting participant is given a passive high-frequency transmitter with a personal code which he holds in the recording post on reaching it. The recording post first charges the high-frequency transmitter via an aerial and then the high-frequency transmitter gives the code to the recording post which immediately forwards the code received and an additional one for the post itself to the central station, where evaluation takes place.
