The device according to the invention for separating the fleece of fibres 2 from the combing (doffing) cylinder 1 in a carding machine including a stripper comb 3 downstream of the combing cylinder, is characterised in that it is made up of a toothed cylinder 5 interacting with the combing cylinder 1 in order to detach the fleece 2 therefrom, the stripper comb interacting with the said toothed cylinder at the beginning of carding in order to separate the fleece therefrom, whilst, at high speed, the fleece leaves the said toothed cylinder 5 directly without interaction with the stripper comb. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif selon l'invention pour la séparation du voile de fibres 2 du cylindre peigneur 1 dans une carde comportant un peigne battant 3 en aval du cylindre peigneur, est caractérisé par le fait qu'il est constitué par un cylindre denté 5 coopérant avec le cylindre peigneur 1 pour en détacher le voile 2, le peigne battant coopérant avec ledit cylindre denté au démarrage de la carde pour en séparer le voile, tandis que,à grande vitesse, le voile quitte directement ledit cylindre denté 5 sans coopérer avec le peigne battant. <IMAGE>
